1. Bhangarh Fort – Rajasthan

Bhangarh Fort is situated in Alwar district of Rajasthan. This is India’s Top Most Hundred Place. This is called Bhangarh of ghosts in a colloquial language. Interesting story is that Bhangarh resides in the 16th century. Bhangarh has flourished for 300 years. Then here, Maharatar Tantrik Sindhu Sevda becomes obsessed with black magic in a beautiful princess Ratnavati. She does black magic to subdue the princess, but herself falls prey to her prey. But before the death, Bhangarh is cursed by the ruin and after a month of his death, all the Bhangarh residents, including the princess, are killed in the battle of neighboring Azbagadh and Bhangarh becomes desolate. Bhangarh, who has been dead since then, is a desolate till today and says that the ghost of the people killed in that battle still wanders in the fort of Bhangarh. Due to the curse of Tantric, the salvation of all those souls has not yet happened.

This place is now under the department of archaeologists and they have given strict instructions to stop it in the fort after sunset. The government has also issued warnings to tourists before going blind. People believe that the spirit of that tantrik still wanders in the same way. According to the curse of Tantric, that place can never be settled. People living there die, but their soul is not liberated.
